Eyelid modeling tool

This tool is a great time saver and solves the problem of making symmetrical and correctly shaped eyelids. Simply place the end of the tool against the plastic eye (the tool ends are clearly marked for left and right eyes), and press the clay against the edges of the guide.

After placing the skin over the PU shape and securing it to the eyelids as you normally would, repeat the process with the eyelid modelling tool and fit the eyelids to the shape of the tool. This saves time, ensures symmetry, and is especially useful for learning the correct anatomy. Perfect for the beginner or the person who does not have the time to model each eye individually.

Step 1: Apply the eye in the PU shape (or original skull) with shrink-proof (Critter) clay. A roll of clay is used to shape the eyelids.

Step 2: Place the right end of the eyelid modelling tool on the artificial eye and press the clay to match the edges. The clay is now roughly the right shape of the eyelid, finish neatly and smoothly.

Step 3: After placing the skin, repeat the procedure to adjust the eyelid skin and eyelashes for perfectly shaped eyes.
