Formalin 4% - preserves bird's feet and reduces shrinkage
Formalin, 4% diluted solution, perfect for injecting bird's feet and making strong-water preparations. Bottle 1 litre.
The solution is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.
Instructions for injecting bird's feet:
1. Fill the syringe with formalin. Preferably use a syringe with a Luer Lock system ('bayonet lock' for the needle so that it does not jump off under pressure).
2. Place the needle under the bird's nail. Press the syringe slowly so that the liquid is distributed throughout the leg.
Warning: contains toxic substances, always wear waterproof gloves and eye/face protection! Apply in a well-ventilated area.
