Powerful washing and degreasing agent for bird and mammal skins.
Many colleagues describe Foryl LHC as the best washing and degreasing agent on the market. Good experience has been gained with stubborn fats from ducks and seabirds. Foryl LHC is a very active detergent with an excellent degreasing effect. The addition of a very small amount (about 2 ml per liter of water) of hydrogen peroxide 35% promotes the expulsion of fatty residues from mechanically cleansed skin. When adding hydrogen peroxide, the contact time should be kept short and the skin should be rinsed with water.
The product is biodegradable and can be easily rinsed with cold water. Foryl LHC is non-ionic.
For washing and degreasing skins of mammals, birds, etc., add 0.5 - 3.0 grams of Foryl LHC per liter of water to the washing water.
The application of Foryl LHC with tanning agents and associated tanning recipes are described in detail in our reader 'Skin Preservation' and practically explained during the workshop Skin Preservation of Bos en Fauna. Experimenting with chemicals is dangerous, know what you are doing!
Caution: corrosive (corrosive) substance! Causes serious eye damage (H318)! Very toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effect (H410)!
